HISTORY
Established in 1994
Taste of Paradise was established in 1994, initially under the name of Niugini Coffee Importers (NCI) by us, Darren and Sonya de Lacey. Our genuine love for Goroka Coffee (from the Highlands of Papua New Guinea where Sonya was born) and Darren’s desire to share it with others motivated the establishment of NCI, with the tagline: “A Taste of Paradise”.
As our business grew and expanded to products other than PNG coffee, we decided to rename our business to better reflect the beautiful products we range, all of which are truly a taste of paradise!
We are a family-owned and operated Tasmanian business. We both work in the business with our son Nick and daughter Ellie (when she’s not being Mum to our gorgeous grandson).
We all appreciate fine quality food and beverages and are eager to share our passion with others.
